I am available for wedding photography, boudoir & maternity shoots, couple shoots, & underwater photography.
I also shoot for companies from November to April. If you want to see my work or are interested in booking me, please contact me.
What kind of shoots can I book with you?
No. Editing the photos is 50% of the magic of my photography. It's what makes my work unique, and if you're reading this, you probably fell for that style. Without editing, the photo is not finished, and I only deliver work that is finished.
I don't withhold photos from moments. If you feel that you are missing a picture, I will happily check the raw images for you.
Do you provide RAW or unedited images?
Can you photoshop us?
I am pro body positivity! That's why I don't change anything about your appearance. Of course, I can work on flaws that generally wouldn't be there (like scars, bruises or acne), unless you explicitly don't want me to. If you feel insecure about anything, please let me know. I can take that into account during the shoot and selection.
Can you help us with posing?
Obviously, that's part of my job. I prefer not to call it posing, however, because I am a bit allergic to that ;). Let me put it this way: I make sure that you are photographed in the most beautiful and spontaneous way. That's my job, and I'm good at it.
99% of the people you see on my Instagram or website are not models. They look beautiful and so will you, trust me!
Help! What should we/I wear during a couple shoot or boudoir shoot?
Don't panic! I can give you all kinds of tips about clothing for a shoot. As soon as you have booked me, I will send them to you so you can dive into your wardrobe. It's also a great excuse to go shopping.
How many photos will we get?
Do you also do group photos?
Sure! I enjoy doing it, but I know that many brides and grooms dread it. I always recommend making a list with a maximum number of combinations or groups, to keep it fun for everyone. You decide who, I choose where. I will handpick the most suitable place at the venue in terms of colors, light, and composition. You don't have to worry about that for a second.
Between 250 - 600 photos. I can't give you an exact number, because for me it's not about the number of photos, but the story: your memories. It also depends on how many hours you book me, but I promise I will share a lot of images of everything I shoot with you. I make sure the story is complete, more complete than you can remember, or have experienced.
What happens if you are sick on the day of our wedding?
How can we book you?
How do we receive the photos?
Do you have any other suppliers you can recommend to us?
Fortunately, it has never happened, but if it does, I will do my best to send a replacement. I have an extensive network of photographers, and we help each other in situations like these. Another photographer will take the pictures, and I will edit and deliver them.
By sending me a message via the contact form. I will check whether I am still available on your date and if so, I'll send you my brochure. Then we'll get to know each other, after which you can decide.
Sure! All couples that book me receive access to a list of my favorite suppliers upon confirmation. The wedding industry is full of very creative, cool, inspiring, and, most of all, fun people. I would love to connect you with them!
You can download all photos in high and low resolution via an online gallery. You can even (partly) share it with your guests!
When and where do you eat at a wedding?
Eating well is essential during such an intense day. For you, but also me. So, if possible, I'd like to eat with you. There are several possibilites.
You can place me at a table with guests. This has the advantage that if something happens, I'll be there immediately to photograph it. It also allows me to interact with your guests at the table. That makes it easier for me to photograph them. That way, I am more than a stranger in the background, which will help some people when they are being photographed.
You can also choose not to put me between the guests. In that case, a spot with a view of the dining room would be nice. This way, I can keep an eye on whether something is happening.
In any case, I'd like to eat at the same time as you and your guests. It would be a shame if I'm eating while someone is giving a speech, or if I miss other special moments. That is why many couples choose the first option.
On that note: I am not on any diet, and I have no allergies.
Can you give us advice and monitor the planning?
I'd love to! Want to know why? Proper planning means you'll have more rest. The more you can enjoy, and the more relaxed you are, the better the pictures will be. That's why I am more than happy to cooperate.
During our first meeting, I will dive deeper into the planning, and I will give you practical and aesthetic advice. You don't have to follow it; after all, it's your day, not mine. But I have a lot of experience and want to save you from stressful situations.
Do you want someone to help you plan and arrange things? Then I can hook you up with some great wedding planners.
When do you arrive and when do you leave?
Where do you sleep?
Can you shoot underwater?
It depends on the destination. As a rule of thumb:
- Within EU + Morocco: the day before the wedding or the day of the welcome dinner
- Outside EU: I arrive 2 days before the wedding. This because of time differences + long flight. I want to be fit for your wedding!
I usually leave the day after the wedding. This depends on flight times and ticket prices. I don't want to make it more expensive than it needs to be for you.
Before I book a flight ticket or stay, I will always consult you first.
I thought you'd never ask! Shooting underwater is incredibly fun to do and is perfect for a love shoot, as well as after the wedding. In that case, it's a 'trash the dress' shoot.
That depends on what's possible. For example, if you get married in a venue with bedrooms, I can sleep on location. If that's not possible, I will find an Airbnb or hotel nearby. I will always consult you before booking.
How long have you been a photographer?
Where do you live?
Are you married?
I live in the countryside, in the town of Bant in Flevoland, the Netherlands, together with my husband and our two cats. I shoot all over the Netherlands - and beyond.
Yes! In 2014, I married my husband Gideon. Read more about my proposal here.
I have been photographing since I was a teenager, and have been a professional photographer since 2015
